GAW's Sarah Newton at Roadworks this Sunday!

The San Francisco Center for the Book

will be having the annual

Roadworks Print and Book Arts Festival

this Sunday, the 19th, from 12 to 5 at Rhode island and 16th.

Featured artist and GAW member Sarah Newton will be printing her 3' square lino block by steamroller in the street along with lots of other prints.

Also: artist and bookbinders, vendors, tours of the SFCB, stuff for kids, and music.

Don't miss the Works–in-Progress Show!!

Graphic Arts Workshop is having an informal show of unframed work (because everyone’s’ schedule is different and Workshop members don’t get to see each other’s work that often). This is a chance to see prints that other members are working on.

April 24, 2010 -- 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Everyone is invited. Refreshments will be served of course. We will also have a table full of very inexpensive prints which we sell to raise money for the Workshop. The event takes place at the GAW, 2565 3rd Street #305, Cross street 22nd Street in San Francisco --see you there!!!
